If my husband and I sold our home to our newly married son & his wife in March of 2009, are either one of them eligible for the first time home buyer credit if both names are on the title and neither one has previously owned a home?

See IRC 36(c)(3)(A). A purchase from a related party. or decedent, is not eligible

for the "first time home buyer credit."
