I just bought a house in December 2009 in my name only. I am married and my husband has his name on another house and I was told that I qualify for the $8,000 Tax Credits that you don't have to pay back. My husband has never used that house for a Tax Credits because it is in his father and his name, so his father uses it of course. Do I still qualify for the $8,000 Tax Credits, filing jointly with my husband as usual?
