I live in Indiana and work in Ohio. My employer only takes out Ohio State taxes. What are your suggestions for tax season?

ANSWER

The BIDaWIZ Team's Answer:

Normally, you file state taxes based on where you work and where the income is generated which would be Ohio in this case. However, certain states have reciprocal agreements in which you would only have to file in your home state of Indiana. For Ohio, you need to complete the tax exemption Form IT-4NR.
