The IRS just announced that they will only start to accept tax returns on January 30th, 2013. The delay is due to the last minute agreement Congress has made regarding pending tax legislation. This essentially means that if you file your tax return by January 30th, you should receive your tax refund within 7 to 10 days after the filing date.
