Can a person contribute to an IRA and Roth IRA at the same time?

ANSWER

The BIDaWIZ Team's Answer:

Yes; but, the total amount that you contribute, to the two

accounts, cannot exceed the annual contribution limit.

The current limit = $5,000, if under age 50, or $6,000, if

age 50, or older. See IRC 219(b)(5).
