What's the best small business accounting software?

 It depends on what your needs are.  Quickbooks is the most popular for the PC and is the most widely used.  Most accountants also have a copy of Quickbooks, so they can use your file for review, year end tax preparation, etc.

However, Peachtree by Sage Software is also a very good accounting program.  It is not as user friendly as Quickbooks, but will allow for customizable financial reports, and better tracking of inventory.
