Can an heir refuse their inheritance from an estate that they are named as a beneficiary?

ANSWER

The BIDaWIZ Team's Answer:

Yes, it is possible.

To refuse inherited assets, a disclaimer would need to be sent to the executor/estate representative refusing it as such. Usually, this must happen within 9 months of the transfer of creating such an interest.
