I have not filed since 2006. I do not have a tax liability and expect refunds for 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. I want to get caught back up. Is there anything special that I need to do to file now that I am so late?

ANSWER

The BIDaWIZ Team's Answer:

The Statute of limitations, to receive the 2006 refund, is three years,

from the due date, of the return. Thus, the 2006 tax return needs to be

filed instanter. Next, file the current year return. Next, file the 2008 return,

and finally, file the 2007 return.
