I am a paralegal working for a small law office. I am receiving a reimbursement from my employer for my health insurance. The payroll company considers it a pre-tax reimbursement. Will I eventually have to pay taxes on this next spring?

ANSWER

The BIDaWIZ Team's Answer:

If your health care premiums were paid with pre-tax dollars, then you will have to pay taxes on the reimbursement as those monies were never taxed.
