If I live in North Carolina but work in New York, do I have to pay personal income tax in both states?

ANSWER

The BIDaWIZ Team's Answer:

No: you pay income taxes to your state of residency. So, if

you are a resident of NC, you pay state income taxes, to NC;

not to NY.
