Are transportation costs to doctors & hospitals deductible on income taxes?
ANSWER
The BIDaWIZ Team's Answer:
Yes; medical transportation mileage is deductible, at the rate of
$.24 per mile; plus, parking fees, and tolls. See Rev.Proc. 2008-72.
The deduction is claimed on Schedule A, of your Form 1040.
